The municipality of Emmen has commissioned the renovation of the Biochron building, located on the former zoo site in Emmen, to transform it into an underground exhibition space and a new main

entrance to the Rensenpark. We are proud to be part of this exciting project.

The exhibition space will be the future home of the Centrum Beeldende Kunst (Visual Arts Centre). Small cube buildings will be set around a pond in the outside courtyard. All buildings will have natural stone cladding with white Moleanos from Portugal.

Our job involves applying bonding to the outer walls and laying natural stone on the flat roofs, on a foundation of tile supports. The interior of the Biochron building will also undergo a thorough transformation. Here, too, white Moleanos will be bonded as finishing on the various surfaces, such as:
